It's OK

The CD doesn't really qualify as guided imagery or self hypnosis. The very limited positive visualization she has you do I didn't feel was relevant to the one strategy provided for overcoming unhealthy behaviors. Her strategy is basically this:
See yourself as two different parts, the one that is working towards being healthy and the one that sabotages that. Instead of fighting the part that resists she suggests acknowledging why it does what it does and then befriending that part and convincing it why other behaviors are in your entire self's best interest.
I have seen some really awful new age malarkey out there and this at least isn't that. Is it helpful? Hard to say but I feel like I wasn't ripped off. The price is pretty steep for what you get but compared to what shrinks charge it is still cheaper.
